NPP Namibia NPP Namibia

Established in 2008, the National Partnership Platform (NPP) in Namibia (Partners Namibia) strengthens the HIV response in Namibia for women and vulnerable communities. The PP creates a safe and equitable space for civil society, especially vulnerable communities, to engage in genuine national-level collaboration, coordination and dialogue with other civil society stakeholders, as a result improving the accountability and ownership of national AIDS policies and programmes among all stakeholders.

The platform is nationally driven and owned, with eleven core partner organisations:

  • Namibia Network of AIDS Service Organisations (NANASO)
  • International Coalition of Women Living with HIV and AIDS (ICW)
  • Southern Africa HIV and AIDS Information Dissemination Service (SAfAIDS)
  • Gender and Media in Southern Africa (GEMSA)
  • Khomas Women in Development (KWID)
  • Ibis
  • Lironga Eparu
  • Rainbow Project Namibia
  • Namibia Women's Network (NWN)
  • Namibia National Teachers Support Network (NANTSN)
  • Sister Namibia
