Zimbabwe needs urgent progress to reach its UNGASS targets particularly access to treatment is still very low, hampered by economic conditions in the country and PMTCT needs to improve drastically to stop new infections in infants. Very low levels of testing mean most people who are positive don’t know their status which can fuel the epidemic.
